Make Lemon & Lime Planner Stickers with Sticky Notes

Hello, I'm omochi, a hand-carved stamp artist in Japan.

Rounded, full-adhesive sticky notes make a lovely base for handmade planner stickers. Stamp a few lemons, lime slices and leaves, cut around them, and an ordinary note becomes a fresh little piece of summer.

Stamp the fruit and leaves

Stamp the lemon shapes in sunflower yellow, the lime slices in fresh green and the leaves in young bamboo green. Mix whole fruit, slices and leaves on each sticky note so the shapes feel lively rather than perfectly even.

Cut around each motif

Once the ink is dry, cut around each shape. Leave a slim border of paper instead of following every tiny line; it is easier to cut and keeps the handmade look soft and cheerful.

Add a little colour to your planner

Try the finished pieces in different places before pressing them down. Because the motifs are on sticky notes, the ink cannot bleed through your planner page, and you can adjust the arrangement until it feels just right.

The quiet rhythm of inking, stamping and cutting makes a gentle pause in a busy day. Change the colours and the same citrus shapes can feel bright, calm or playfully tropical.
